The International Campaign for Tibet Europe (ICT-E) is a place where committed and talented individuals work for the human rights and self-determination of the Tibetan people. We are currently seeking two interns to assist staff with a number practical and research tasks:
To assist Senior Policy Officer:Interns will work on a variety of areas including assisting in tracking European legislation and political developments, answering information requests and correspondence, web-site maintenance, monitoring and archiving press articles and photographs, report research, and events planning. Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English skills
To assist Membership and Campaign CoordinatorInterns will assist with fundraising and membership related projects, developing the Dutch and European website and assisting with communications to ICT members and potential supporters. One of the primary tasks will be to help establish a European-wide program for Tibet supporters.
Internships at ICT Europe are available immediately.
In selecting interns, ICT Europe gives consideration to past involvement in Tibetan issues and organizations, travel to Tibet or Tibetan communities in exile, and involvement in related human rights issues, or other young people with a committed interest in Tibet, China, and political advocacy. The full-time internship is unpaid, but comes with a stipend.
